Star of the Month - is Dawn Mountford who las lost 9 lbs, 17.5 inches and body fat reduction of 1.5% . As well as a Curves T shirt, Dawn has the honour of wearing the much coveted "Star Of The Month Purple Bib".
Christmas Party 2009
Unfortunately the previous day's snowfall had an adverse affect on numbers attending but those that did had some fun and the free tombola went down well, as did the mince pies and mulled wine!
Fight Like a Girl Workshop
Our second workshop was held in the local Church hall on 13 February and was a great success. The recent tragedy in Reading gave a timely and poignant reminder that we all need to be aware of dangers and how to defend ourselves in the event of an attack. We are now planning a further event in October and looking at the possibility of a special Mother and Daughter event during the Summer.
